Angels for Foster Kids is an established 501(c)(3) social service organization that attempts to moderate the negative impacts that are often faced by children who are living in foster care. Our organization’s programs, implemented by a well-trained professional staff, provide many opportunities for the reduction of indigence and facilitation of achievement through needed intervention. Supporting the development of self-confidence, life skills, and educational ability, Angels for Foster Kids provides many at-risk children with a thorough foundation for future success.

Individual empowerment and self-determination have always been strong components of the organization. Founded in 2007, the organization was conceived and organized to address the social, intellectual, and familial needs of foster children across the United States, to counteract failure, and to assist in the provision of opportunities for fulfillment.

Mission: Angels for Foster Kids was born with a mission to improve the quality of life for foster children throughout the United States.

Recognizing the needs that exist among this struggling population, the staff provides several programs that are focused on improving the quality of life for abused, neglected children and assisting young adults with the skills needed to become productive citizens throughout society. We work to provide emergency financial support to families in crisis, or wish granting through our DreamMakers program designed to enhance foster children’s opportunities for success, improve their education, personal skill development, living conditions and provide housing along with job training skills to young adults who have aged out of foster care or at high risk for becoming homeless.

In addition, we work to collect and appeal for school supplies, Holiday and special occasion gifts for all foster children in our service area.

Development of public support is done solely through the volunteers, the Board of Directors and private support. Fundraisers are in the form of events that are open to the public or through exclusive invitation, such as Wine Tastings, Fashion shows, and other exciting events in the future.
